I m pretty sure it s not a mechanical issue unless a sensor has just failed anyone have any.
Transit van back doors not locking.
The only way it will auto lock again is to turn the engine off and restart the engine.

So dreaded central locking issue so if i open the back doors and close them and lock the van for horn goes off and it s cycles the locks so far i have checked side door cleaned up the little pins all ok if i can get the doors not to show that that they are open on the dash when i drive off auto lock kicks in and the door will locked but if i press the button it will not lock the horn will.
So it seems that the signal from the keyfob is reaching the van it.
It is not a question of turning on off the feature.
I have two fob but none worked if i try to open the back doors or reset the central locking by turning the the key on off 8 times in 10.
Hi for the past couple of months my 2015 150xlt beeps and flashes its lights when i hit the lock unlock button on the keyfob but none of the doors lock or unlock.
My blue key is transmitting to my 09 transit van but it does not unlock or lock any door and have to use key to lock and unlock.
The feature is always on after driving the van but if the van is stopped and the doors manually unlocked the auto lock does not auto lock.
You will pay a big bill getting you re van on the back of a truck compared to the cost of a ring.
But is it transmitting the right code and if it is is the van s security system actually receiving the signal and if it does perhaps the security system has developed amnesia.
I have just bought a ford transit 2003 lwb van and am having problems with the central locking system.
I have a problem with my lwb ford transit 350 i can open the drivers door with key i can t open the passager door i can only open and lock the sliding manually i can t access the back doors from inside or open it.
Ford have tested key and it is transmitting.
I think i ve somehow managed to upset the central locking on my transit mk7 as when you lock it all up it seems to think there s a door still open in the back locks the front only and then beeps.
