Hey traktor users i just purchased traktor scratch pro 2 to give my turntables a second life.
Traktor mk2 vinyl calibration.
I have the same problem here i bought new cartridges mk2 and ortofons concorde digital for the best and hi quality of signal.
My turntables are very low used and i m the first owner i also bought new vinyl time code too.
This happens when the balancing weight of the pick up arm isn t properly configured.
Check it the balancing weight itself it set to the correct value.
I installed the software and got my audio 10 card working but when i calibrate it gives me 1 white circle and 1 spray in the middle and it stays on waiting.
Traktor duo 2 updated to 2 1 2 last driver audio 6 macbook core2duo 2ghz latency 512 sample rate 44100 vinyl timecode mk2 calibration still failing.
During playback the calibration scope should display a stable timecode signal as pictured below for timecode vinyl and timecode cd.
This article explains how to set up traktor pro 3 to control playback via timecode from an external turntable or cd player.
Check if the zero marker of the balancing weight is properly configured.
Traktor pro 3 introduces the scratch for all feature it now supports any audio device for timecode control provided the required audio inputs phono for timecode vinyl line for timecode cd are offered.
I have a macbookpro 10 13 6 late 2011 2 4ghz i7 8g ddr3 and hd ssd 250 gh.
Calibration will stop working and all i get is white fuzz and red warning saying record or needle failure i t wont calibrate until i restart traktor and then it happens again.
If i m not mistaken there is no real way for us mk1 owners to get scratch to work if we have upgraded from traktor 2 non scratch to traktor 3.
For more information on relative and absolute mode as well as troubleshooting timecode calibration please refer to chapters tracking modes and traktor scratch pro 2 troubleshooting in the traktor 2 user manual.
Br thanks for the update very unfortunate that didn t work.
This still requires the use of traktor scratch timecode.
The vinyl i am using are mk2 black vinyl as well i also got some red mk2 vinyl as well and it fails with that too.
