Masonry chisel and a 2 lb.
Tool to remove marble tile.
Work the chisel between the tiles and the concrete hammering them up with a 2 lb.
Score the grout lines between the marble tiles using a grout scoring tool or chisel.
Once you have the marble cracked and shattered in several places you can start to remove large pieces from the floor.
Use a ball peen or masonry hammer and cold chisel to tap the pieces free.
Use a 3 4 or 1 in.
Start at a broken tile or between tiles where the grout has loosened.
Scrape the grout away with a utility knife.
Strike the face of stubborn tiles to break them up for easier removal.
An ordinary grout saw typically does not work for wall tiles because of lug spacers that connect adjacent tiles underneath.
If using a chisel place the chisel at a slight angle atop the grout and use the hammer to tap on the chisel as.
This method takes a while but comes with a low risk of damaging the surrounding tiles.
You can either use a floor scraper from a standing position to pry up large sections of tile or use the flat edge of a masonry chisel to slide up under the side of individual tiles to lift them away.
Unfortunately it had to be removed due to new flooring butting against the threshold.

Fit your utility knife in a sturdy holder if you have one and run it carefully and repeatedly around the tile or tiles you plan to remove.
